GEAR.IT WILL GET A HEAT TREATED REACTION TUBE.
THIS IS A STEEL REINFORCE INPUT HOUSING AND HEAT TREATED INPUT SHAFT.THE INPUT HOUSING & INPUT SHAFT ARE A WEAK POINT IN THE 4L60-E TRANSMISSION,THEY WILL FAIL !!!! IN HIGH TORQUE VEHICLE.THIS KIT WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM.



5 PINION FORWARD PLANETARY
All GM 700R4 and 4L60E transmissions were fitted with 4 pinion rear planetary carriers on the assembly line .When subjected to torque loads in excess of 350 foot pounds the carrier has reached its structural and mechanical design limitations and can fail. In 2001 GM introduced the 4L65E transmission and with it came an updated 5 pinion rear planetary carrier .This original equipment carrier increases its torque transmitting capability to over 600 foot pounds .This was accomplished through the addition of one planetary pinion gear, revision of the carriers structure, and improved metallurgy. This part should be installed in all transmission behind engines producing in excess of 400 foot pounds of torque.

Sonnax Pinless Accumulator Pistons
The dual seals stabilize and completely seal the bore and provide a tight seal even after thousands of cycles. The pinless design eliminates the possibility of pin leakage and the additional length stabilizes the piston to prevent piston cocking. This pinless accumulator piston kit does not work with OEM two accumulator spring applications. The stock accumulator piston can develop a large pressure leak at the pin area over a period of 50 to 100 thousand miles.
