LEVEL 1 PACKAGE

 

Let us transform your weak E40D / 4R100 transmission into something much stronger & reliable. The level 1 package comes with alto power pack red eagle clutch plates & kolene steel plates. Each clutch drum will have extra clutches added for more holding power. We will upgrade the accumulator valves to a new line modulator pressure valve by sonnax. They will come in either a .427 " diameter or .500'' diameter valve for increased pressure. This will result in a firmer shift. The pump will also receive a new boost sleeve & boost valve by sonnax. This is necessary for every rebuild as this is made of a higher quality material. The stock boost valve & sleeve has a bad were problem, which will cause poor line rise & a soft shift, which will lead to transmission failure. We will also upgrade the planetary in the transmission from the 3 & 4 pinion aluminum style that will break in a stock vehicle, to the 6 pinion all steel planetary. This is necessary for a higher power & higher torque vehicle.

Vehicles with E40D/4R100 transmission frequently have problems with poor line rise and/or soft shifts. These complaints are often caused by severe wear of the pressure regulator boost sleeve, allowing EPC and reverse boost oil leakage. Superior Solutions Problem Solver

 

 

When the stock aluminum Accumulator regulator valves begin to stick in the bore, this can cause soft sliding shifts or even missed gears. The replacement valves springs in this kit are designed to resist sticking and help return the accumulator body back to normal operation. This problem solver also gives new life to the line pressure modulator valve through modifications that compensate for wear in the boost sleeve.

Mag-Hytec Transmission Pan

This pan will increase oi capacity by 8 quarts over a stock pan.
